Whether you currently use the library or not, we’d like to hear from you. Our Summer Survey includes questions about the North Douglas Library District’s value and importance to our community and your satisfaction with library services and programs.

All community members of all ages may choose to complete this survey. Families may fill out this survey either individually or as a household.

This survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

Survey responses accepted from June 1, 2024 through September 30, 2024.

Free printed copies of this survey are available at the Mildred Whipple Library.

Participants may choose to enter to win one (1) of ten (10) $50 gift cards to local businesses.

Why should I complete the survey?
Help the library customize what we offer!
Survey results will help the North Douglas Library District customize programs, resources, and services to community interest and need as we plan for the future. What is the North Douglas Library District currently doing well? What could the North Douglas Library District improve on?
All feedback is welcome - there are no wrong answers!
How will my information be used?
Survey answers are anonymous and all questions are optional.
If you do not wish to answer a question, please skip it. Any information collected from this survey will only be used in aggregate form (meaning there will be no identifiable information). For example: "Survey respondents 65 and older were most likely to visit the library to attend a program while survey respondents visiting as a family were most likely to check out materials" or “70% of survey respondents typically find out about library news and programs from library staff”.
If you choose to participate in the optional gift card drawing (explained below), your name and contact information is collected separately from your survey responses.
What incentives are there for survey participants?
Upon completion of the survey all participants may choose to enter to win one (1) of ten (10) $50 gift cards to local businesses. Participation is optional and contact information is collected separately from survey data. Winners will be announced in October 2024.
